“I realize that it is not my role to transform either the world or the man: I have neither sufficient virtue nor insight for that. But it may be to serve, in my place, those few values without which even a transformed world would not be worth living in, and man, even if “new”, would not deserve to be respected. ”

“I realized that all that is required to recognize the love I already have is for me to release myself from needing anything from you at all.”
Only my sincere wish that you continue following what speaks within you, that you take your own time and your own way and that you never feel the need to even notice my blessing, because a blessing can have no price. Just my recognition that you are free, because thats what love is.

2020 Leaders and Legends Ball, Atlanta, Georgia
Last night was a literal dream. I got the opportunity to curate the art exhibit for the @youtubemusic ‘s 2020 leaders and legends ball here in Atlanta, Georgia at the History Museum. It felt like a full circle, this is where I’m supposed to be, can’t go back now, life changing night. I’m so thankful for the opportunity and to the ones who gave it it me. It’s was a true moment of manifestation. Last night is something I’ve dreamed about, visualized, vision boarded, prayed for for yearssssss. There have been moments of “will I ever be able to make a true living doing what I’m passionate about? 2020 is off to a good start. Much love.
thank you for the opportunity, Brian. Photos by ATL pics.

“If you don’t design your OWN life plan, chances are you’ll fall into someone else’s PLAN.
And guess what they have planned for you?
NOT MUCH.””
What was LIFE? Either playing a part all the time in order to be AMONGST people in the warm, or standing ALONE with the strange real TRUE feeling— Alone with a sort of edge of REALITY on everything; even on quite ugly things—cheap boarding house, faced towels & blistered window frames.
While many black communities, especially in the south; experienced continued racial hatred, poverty, race riots and many other hardships in the 1920’s, the decade was also to some extent an era of opportunity for black writers, musicians and visual artist. Jazz music was helping save the American economy from a gloomy aftermath of WWI, black students were establishing fraternities and sororities. The Harlem renaissance and art deco influences gave clear inspiration and greatly impacted the 20’s fashion and jazz culture dominated the rebellion promoting local designers who reflected black culture through heavily embellished, patterned and colorful patterns.
Dancing unrestrictedly in jazz clubs, shiny fabrics, loosely fitting, dropped to the waistline, sleeveless, fringed, rich beading, thin spaghetti straps and big, opulent accessories.
to end it all with a Vogue Italia placement …
